Hip-Hop/Tap
Hip-Hop will focus on moving and grooving, while learning beginner techniques and combinations. Tap will focus on learning foundational tap steps and combinations while developing rhythm and coordination in a fun and accessible environment. Prior dance experience is helpful but not required.
Attire: leotard or t-shirt, with leggings or shorts, hair pulled back from face. Indoor sneakers or socks for Hip-Hop and tap shoes for Tap. Socks are ok for the first few classes for those who don’t have tap shoes yet; we also have some used tap shoes that are available to borrow.
It is recommended that dancers in this class also attend Ballet 1 or Ballet 2.
